FILLION, Florence – Passed away peacefully at Victoria Village, Barrie on Saturday, April 29, 2017 in her 92nd year with her family by her side.
Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Fillion (1980) and Luis Francisco (2003); loving mother of Cheryl (the late Cecil) Courtney, and Linda (the late Pete) McCauley. Cherished grandmother of Iona (the late Laverne) Thompson, Alan (Tammy) McColl, Tracy (Gabby) Prieto, Peter (Leanne) McCauley, Great-grandmother of Alison (Matt), Alannah, Alan, Matthew, Madison, Ava, Leah, and Great-Great grandmother of Ava and Madilyn.
Florence was predeceased by her parents Aaron and Laura Strong, sisters Edith Pelley, Irene Stanley, Mary Keffer and brothers Maxwell Strong, and Frank Strong.
Florence was a life time and faithful member of the Salvation Army Hespeler Community Church.
Florence’s family will welcome friends and family at Lounsbury Funeral Home 1766 Franklin Boulevard, Cambridge, on Monday, May 1st from 1 pm until the time of the Funeral Service at 2 pm with interment to follow at New Hope Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army Hespeler Community Church would be greatly appreciated by the family.
