Trudy passed away peacefully after falling ill late last year.
She is survived by her beloved children: Eric (Savina), Mike (Stephanie), Linda (Michel), Jeff (Sandra) and her grandchildren Emily, Cedric, Rylan, Jordan, Gabriela, and Louisa. She immigrated to Canada from her native Netherlands with her late husband Gerry in 1960. Trudy, with her eternally friendly nature and warm smile, made a great impact on those in the community.
On top of being a wonderful, devoted mother to her kids, she volunteered for decades at the Victorian Order of Nurses and the Ste. Anne’s Veteran’s Hospital.
We would like to express our gratitude especially to the tenants and administrators at Villa Beaurepaire, as well as to all at the West Island Palliative Care Residence.
