VEENSTRA, Andrew – Mr. Andrew “Andy” Veenstra surrounded by his family on Saturday April 22, 2017 at the age of 76 years. Beloved husband of 54 years to Faye (née Legue) Veenstra. Loved father of David (Lil), Bo (Laurie), Jason (Sylvie), and Scott (Leanne). Sadly missed by his grandchildren Matthew, Crystal, Alyssa, Drew, Troy, Clark, Sheldon, Landon, Trenton, Hannah, and Haley; and great-grandchildren Ty, and Mila. Loving son of the late Jan and Taltije (née Broesma) Veenstra. He will be missed by 2 brothers and 6 sisters, the Legue family, and many nieces and nephews. Andrew is remembered as the co-founder of J&A Collision Centre. Resting at the Wilson Funeral Home 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall where visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9PM. Funeral service will be held at the Immanuel Christian Reformed Church, 2264 Pitt St. Cornwall, on Wednesday April 26, 2017 at 11AM. Cremation will follow. If so desired, contributions in his memory to Myeloma Canada or Cornwall Hospice (by cheque) would be appreciated by the family.
