Thomas, “Jean” Mary (nee Richens) – Peacefully on Friday March 31, 2017 at the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital. Jean, in her 73rd year, beloved wife of Gord for 55 years. Loving mother of Darren, Shelly (Steve) Gervais, and Bradley (Kim). Proud and loved grandma of Alicia, Kaiden and Olivia. Dear sister of Fred (Edith), Bruce (Christine), Paul (Debbie) and Linda (Harry) James. Predeceased by her sisters Margaret Richens and Patricia Blackburn. Jean will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, the Thomas family and all of her friends at Smart Apple Media. A Celebration of Jean’s Life will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, 200 Maple Street, Collingwood on Saturday April 8, 2017 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, in memory contributions can be made to The Hospice Georgian Triangle or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
