Jennie Lynn Klein – 2017

On Friday, April 14, 2017 beloved sister, aunt and godmother Jennie was reunited with her husband John, whom she missed immensely since his passing in 2003.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband John; parents George and Anna Montan; brothers George, Constantine ‘Curly’, Johnny, Wes, and Dan; and sisters Mary and Florence.
Jennie is survived by her sisters Millie, Virginia and Bernice; goddaughter Sharon; three sisters-in-law; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Born near Flintoff, SK on December 4, 1925, she was the seventh of 11 children born to George and Anna Montan (Munteanu). Jennie was raised in the Limerick, SK area and moved to Regina in the late 1940’s. She was a proud, strong willed, determined, kind and wise woman.
Jennie spent the last years of her life in a personal care home where she was cared for dearly and they became her second family. She loved to dance and golf and never missed an opportunity to attend a function at St. Mary’s or the Trianon or let a lovely day go by without spending it on the golf course.
This past year had been a trying one for Aunt Jennie as her health deteriorated. Special Thanks goes out to Dahab Melles and the Fulton Manor staff, who helped pave the way to her peaceful end. Jennie was very fortunate to receive compassionate care in her last hours at the Regina General Hospital.
A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow.
Those wishing to make a donation in Jennie’s memory may do so to her favorite charities: the Canadian Red Cross, 100, 2050 Cornwall Street, Regina, SK S4P 2K5 or the Salvation Army, 2240 13th Avenue, Regina, SK S4P 3M7.
Arrangements entrusted to Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery (306) 789-8850.
