Margaret Jeannette Gooding – 2017

Passed away peacefully in her 89th year on April 14th 2017 in Brockville. Jeannette’s life was distinguished by her kindness, love of family and playful spirit. Beloved wife of the late Edward Gooding. Loving mother of Barry (Mollie) and Robert (Sonya). ‘Nanny” to Sarah (Geraint), Emily (Victor), John (Nicole), Donald (Nicole), Edward (Chelsea) and Miguel (Dallis). “Big Nanny” to Levi, Madilyn, Jacob, Rhiana, Ellen and Paisley. Jeannette is also survived by her sisters Dorothy (late Raymond), Elaine (Ronnie), Linda (late Nick), Dale (Robert) and brothers Brian (late Norma), Jack (Gisele) and Michael (late Sylvia). Jeannette was predeceased by her parents Lewis and Dorothy, brothers Kenneth (late Esther, late Bette-Lou) and Donald (Carol), and sister Patricia (late Robert). Aunty Net is fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, but especially Kandis, Tiffany and Tara. Special thanks to Dr. Donald Brooks, Carmen White, Dr. Sharma and the staff of the Brockville General Hospital Palliative Care Unit. Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Jeannette’s wishes, a graveside service will be held at a later date. Until then, please take a moment, sit with someone you care for, and share a story of this amazing woman and how she enriched our lives. In memory of Jeannette, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
