Grace Dvernichuk 29 avril 1939 – 9 avril 2017

In loving memory of a dear wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Grace Dvernichuk, who passed away with her family by her side on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at the age of 77 years.
She was predeceased by her husband Joe; and grandson Joshua.
Grace will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Anita; sons Joel (Janet) and Nathan (Rhonda); grandchildren Kristen, Adam, Nicholas, Janelle, Austin and Amy; as well as great grandchildren Angelina, Katalina, Kainem, Joseph and Ava. Grace will also be sadly missed by her sisters Cathy, Marg, Jackie, Rusty, Donna and Linda; as well as many nieces and nephews. J
oe and Grace spent the early years of their marriage in numerous Saskatchewan towns while Joe pursued his career in Hospital Administration. Settling in Regina in 1970, they raised a family and developed incredible friendships in the Whitmore Park neighbourhood.
Always the caregiver, Mom raised her children and then pursued a career as a nursing home care aide where her compassion and care for others was a bright light in so many of the resident’s lives. In retirement, health issues did not curb her time devoted to others as she shared so much of herself with her grandchildren and neighbours.
A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Whitmore Park United Church, 336 Durham Drive, Regina, SK on Monday, April 17, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. followed by a reception.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Grace may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre Street, Regina, SK S4P 2R3.
Arrangements entrusted to Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery (306) 789-8850.
