It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Yachiyo Susan Higa at the age of 87 years.
Yachiyo is survived by daughters Kyera Lea, Glenda (John) Worne, and son Wes Higa (Mary Tanasiuk). Also left to mourn are grandchildren Alecyn Lea, Joel & Chris (Kaylee) Worne, and Shawn Higa; and siblings Yoshi (Mich), Archie (Shirley) and extended family.
Yachiyo was predeceased by her husband Hiroshi Francis Higa in 1999 and her daughter Bev in 2013.

Family and Friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday, March 24, 2017 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at CHRISTENSEN SALMON GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703 – 13 Street North, Lethbridge.
A Graveside Service will take place at the Mountain View Cemetery on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Mom’s Life on Saturday afternoon from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Loyal Order of Moose Banquet Hall, 1401 – 5 Avenue North, Lethbridge.
