Died surrounded by her five children and her family, on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia. LOUANNE McGUIRE (nee McCallum), of Wyoming, was in her 60th year. She was a loving mother to Jaclyn McGuire of Oil Springs, Shawn (Lora) McGuire of Wyoming, Jaime (Jesse) Minten of Watford, Jessa (Kyle) McGuire of Wyoming, and Samuel (Emily) McGuire of Oil Springs, and a cherished Grammie to the light of her life, Mavrik. Louanne was a loved sister to Gary (Judi) McCallum, Sherry (Randy) Whiting, Wayne (Mary Lynne) McCallum, Kevin (Cheryl) McCallum, Cathy (Tony) Bourque, Jim (Denise) McCallum, Maureen (Ron) Bailey, and Souzanne (Mark) Annett. She will also be missed by her dear friend Tom Rinker. Louanne was predeceased by her parents Lucille (1971) and Elwood (1998) McCallum, her infant son Scott (1988), and her infant grandson Marik (2007). She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many precious nieces and nephews. Mom came off as tough, but the truth is she had the biggest heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. She worked for 28 years with Canada Post and spent twelve years cleaning various post offices. She loved to bake, can pickles, make jam, and always gave the majority away. She was our rock and will be missed by all who know her.
