O’Flaherty, June of Halifax died peacefully at home on April 11, 2017 following a brief illness. Born in Toronto she was the daughter of Richard and Marjorie (Starr) Taylor. A devoted mother and wife, June worked as a secretary with Northern Telecom in Toronto before moving to Nova Scotia. In Halifax she was employed with the Dalhousie University School of Nursing and later with Millennium Home Rentals as their star agent. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Yorke; daughter Linda, son Allan (fiancée Andrea Parliament) grandsons Matthew, Marshall and Taylor of Toronto and several nephews.
