Parent, Rita (née Baronnette) 1921-2017
The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, Monday March 27 2017, at the age of 95 years. Daughter of the late Alphonse Baronnette and of the late Victoria Lelièvre. Wife of the late Émile Parent. Loving mother of Lorraine Roy (Raymond), Ronald (Carol), Paulette Leveillée (André) (late Gérald), Denis (Diane) and Denise Moss (Richard). Predeceased by her infant daughter Rachelle. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 10 grandchildren; Ken, Julie, Cindy, Joel, Michel, Melissa, Marc, Danielle, Joey, Amy and by her 13 great grandchildren; Eric, Emma, Martin, Matthieu, Jazmine, Jeremy, Shon, Sophie, Cole, Bryce, Ryker, Harlow and Dylan. Survived her sister Yvonne Chenier and by her sister in law Julienne Baronnette. Rita is predeceased by her sisters Alma Dufour, Elizabeth Duguay, Ida Marchand, Gilberte Gosselin, Rose Cull and by her brothers Victor and Roméo Baronnette. Her memory lives on in the hearts of her many nieces and nephews. With a fine appreciation for music, Rita loved to play the accordion and the piano. She enjoyed dancing and she inspired all the people she met with her contagious smile. Plans for a celebration of Rita’s life will be announced at a later date.
