Johnston, James Elmer
“Jim”
Passed away peacefully at the Village of Riverside Glen on
Monday, April 3, 2017 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of
the late Nancy Alice (Gordon) Johnston (2006). Cherished
father of Bruce (Peggy) of Indiana and Joanne Cardwell (Keith) of
Brantford. Proud Grandpa of Matthew and Andrew Johnston,
Michael, Jacob and Eric Cardwell. Dear brother of Lorraine
Gordon and twin sister Jean Lawson; brother in law of Ross Gordon
(Joan) and Russell Gordon. Jim will be fondly remembered by
many nieces, nephews, many friends and coworkers from Biltmore Hats
where he worked for over 49 years. Thank you to
the caring staff at Riverside Glen, Nichol neighbourhood, especially
Justine. Special thanks to PSW Bridget Doyle and to
Dr’s Ruddock, Luthra and Moodley; Jodi Weiler, and our good
friend Megan Daly for being there.

home chapel on Friday at 1:30 p.m. Interment Woodlawn
Memorial Park with reception following at the funeral home.
