SAINT-IGNACE, NB – Gisèle
Arsenault-Chevarie, 63, of St. Ignace passed away peacefully,
surrounded by her family, at the Dr.-Georges-L.-Dumont University
Hospital on Saturday, April 1st, 2017. Born in
Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Marc and Ida (Arsenault)
Gallant. Before retiring, she was self-employed
as a restaurant owner. was self-employed as a restaurant
owner.
Gisèle will be sadly missed by her loving husband,
Raymond Chevarie; her daughter, Denise Daigle (Stéphane) of
Rexton; son, Rheal Arsenault of Moncton; and her grandchildren, Corey,
Dylan, Emma and Shaden.
She is also survived by her three sisters, Claudia Pineau
(Adrien) of Moncton, Bernadette Arsenault (Charlie Pitre) of Moncton
and Pauline Tait (Floyd) of Moncton; five brothers, Paul Gallant
(Mary) of Cambridge, ON, Tony Gallant (Adelia) of Moncton, Gerald
Gallant (Aline) of Montreal, QC, Donald Gallant (Edna) of Toronto, ON
and Robert Gallant (Pam) of Riverview; sister-in-law, Georgette
Gallant of Whitby, ON; as well as by her several nieces and
nephews.
Besides her parents, Gisèle is predeceased by her
brother, Frankie and sister, Ginette.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home,
Richibucto on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm and Wednesday from
9:00 am until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will
be celebrated on Wednesday, April 5th, 2017 at
11:00 am, St.-Charles-Borromée Roman Catholic Church,
St.-Charles. Donations in Gisèle’s
memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of
the donor’s choice and would be appreciated by the
family.
Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral
Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
