Seamont Joseph Irenee Lloyd,
Passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness, at the West End Villa in Ottawa, in his 68th year. He is survived by his mother Mrs. Bertha Seamont, Pembroke, son Tom Ottawa, daughter Jo-Ann Seamont Graham, (Mike) and Grandson Jackson Westmeath. Predeceased by father Tom Seamont and infant sister Jo-Ann. Lloyd grew up in Pembroke and joined the Air Cadets, The Lanark and Renfrew Scottish Regiment, the O.P.P. and later the Corps of Commissionaires. He was a kind and religious person. Lloyd will be missed by his Pellerin and Sheridan cousins as well as many friends in Ottawa, special friend to Bas Houlahan. Friends are invited to share their memories of Lloyd with his family during visitation at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Friday from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday March 24 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Columbkille’s Cathedral, Pembroke. Interment St. Columba’s Cemetery. In memory of Lloyd, donations to Canadian Parkinsons Foundation or the Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated by the family.
