Georges ALBERT
ALBERT, Georges Claude est décédé paisiblement au Manoir d’Algoma à Thessalon le 09 mars, 2017 à l’âge de 88. Époux bien aimé de feu Cécile Marie (née Leblanc) Albert de Blind River. Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants, Gisèle Johnson (Lorne) de Warren, Maxine Habel (Jean-Pierre) de Sault Ste Marie, Broderick Albert (Marion) de Blind River, Marc Albert (Micheline) de Chelmsford, Michelle Juuti (Robert) d’Elliot Lake, Noël Lyne Albert (Charles McCoy) d’Azilda, Allain Albert (Michèle) d’Hanmer et Roque Albert (Sylvie) de Verner. Grand-père bien aimé de Jennifer, Jeffrey, Jaysen, Brigitte, Geneviève, Zachari, Samuel, Sophie, Éric, Kari, Page, Tali-Anne, Hali-Marie, Shay-Lyne, Danièle, Amélie et Chanelle; et le grand-grand papa de Lexa, Rylee, Lily, et Ellie. Il laisse également sa soeur Marie-Jeanne Wigle, et de feu Alice Albert, Rita Kachur, et Richard Albert. Enseignant aux paliers élémentaire et secondaire pendant quarante ans à Blind River, Georges trouvait la détente en participant aux sports, surtout le golf et le hockey. Il fut, en plus, fier francophone, impliqué au sein du Conseil séparé de la Rive Nord , dirigeant à la Caisse populaire de la paroisse Ste Famille, et membre dévoué du parti Libéral de l’Ontario et du Canada. Ses enfants, Noel Lyne et Allain, vous accueillent au salon funeraire Menard, Blind River, mercredi, le 15 mars, 2017 entre 11h et 13h suivant par la service au salon; ses enfants Gisèle, Broderick, Marc, Michelle, et Roque accueilleront parents et amis à la Célébration de vie qui aura lieu dans un proche avenir. Un merci du fond du coeur au Dr. Keating, le personnel au Manoir d’Algoma, et les aides Rachel Grimard et Darlene Inch pour leur appuis indispensable envers notre père pendant sa maladie.

Dear father of Gisèle Johnson (Lorne) of Warren, Maxine Habel (Jean-Pierre) of Sault Ste Marie, Broderick Albert (Marion) of Blind River, Marc Albert (Micheline) of Chelmsford, Michelle Juuti (Robert) of Elliot Lake, Noel Lyne Albert (Charles McCoy) of Azilda, Allain Albert (Michèle) of Hanmer and Roque Albert (Sylvie) of Verner. Special grandfather of Jennifer, Jeffery, Jaysen, Brigitte, Geneviève, Zachari, Samuel, Sophie, Eric, Kari, Page, Tali-Anne, Hali-Marie, Shay-Lyne, Danièle, Amélie, and Chanelle; and great grandpere of Lily, Ellie, Lexa, and Rylee. Dear brother of Marie-Jeanne Wigle and the late Alice Albert, Rita Kachur, and Richard Albert. A Blind River school teacher for forty years, Georges relaxed playing golf and hockey. He was also a champion of francophone rights in the area, president of both the local separate school board and credit union for a number of years, and a dedicated member of the Liberal Party of Ontario and Canada. His children Noel Lyne and Allain welcome you to Menard Funeral Home, Blind River for visitation on March 15, 2017 from 11am until the time of service at 3pm; his children Gisèle, Broderick, Marc, Michelle, and Roque welcome family and friends to a Celebration of life in the near future. A special thank you to attending physician Dr. Keating, Algoma Manor staff, and caregivers Rachel Grimard and Darlene Inch for their dedication in serving our father during his illness.
