Obituary for Marion Quiring
Marion Quiring of Calgary, Alberta passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Monday, March 6, 2017.
Marion Quiring, is the loving wife of Wayne Quiring and wonderful mother to sons Jamie and Mark (Chantel).
Marion was born in Coaldale, Alberta, on April 10th, 1950, to Jacob and Tina Janz, the 4th of seven children. Marion grew up and went to school in Coaldale before moving to Calgary in the mid ’70s. In 1979 she married Wayne.
Marion’s life was marked by her devotion to her family, her love of music and flowers. Most notably, Marion will always be remembered for her courage and faith in God which sustained her throughout her life. Marion will be lovingly remembered by her husband Wayne, two sons Jamie and Mark, daughter-in-law Chantel, four sisters, two brothers, seven brothers-in-law, four sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
Marion was blessed with a wide circle of friends and her life touched many people. Her gentle nature and keen wit made her very memorable.
Memorial Service will be held at Southview Alliance Church (20200 Walden Blvd) on Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at 2:30 pm.
