Phyllis Alice Bastarache
1952-2017
On March 5, 2017, our Lord called home his child, Phyllis Alice
Bastarache to be with him and her devoted earthly father, Edgar Joseph
and her brothers Clarence and Leonard. May her soul rest in
peace.
Phyllis was born on February 14, 1952 in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent. Prior
to retirement she worked many years for Chartwells at Saint John High
School. Having worked at several locations within the company, she
could always rely on the support and love of a great boss, Darlene
Erb.
She leaves behind the love of her life and best friend, Paul Campeau,
her siblings: Gerry, Diane (Billy) Savoy and DeeDee and mother, Alma.
As well as devoting her life to her dad and siblings, she became a
surrogate grandmother to her nephews: John, Christopher and Daniel.
They were her pride and joy and she leaves them with beautiful
memories of how much she loved them unconditionally.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Fitzpatrick’s
Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St, Saint John, NB (634-1965). A
Celebration of her life will be held out of Fitzpatrick’s
Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, March 14 at 3:00 PM. A private family
interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. It would be
appreciated for all memorial donations to be made to Romero House.

but how many were sorry when he passed away”
