Barteaux, Marjorie Claire – Age 89, passed peacefully at Lewis Hall, Parkland at the Lakes, Dartmouth NS, on Monday, March 6, 2017. Born in Sydney NS on May 30, 1927, she was the daughter of H. Britt and Winifred (Simpson) Mitchell. In 1934 her family relocated to Dartmouth, next door to the boy who would become the love of her life. After Greenvale School (then Dartmouth’s high school), she earned her diploma in music from Dalhousie University, and in 1951 graduated as an R.N. from Victoria General School of Nursing.
