Matt Kennedy suddenly passed away in his home in Calgary, Alberta on Thursday, February 2, 2017 from a massive heart attack. He will be dearly missed by his mother Drew Kennedy; his brother Christian Kennedy (Alysha) and their 3 children Kasha, Ariana and Lucus; and his girlfriend Harlene Vidallo. He was owner and publisher of a tri-city ” True Life” magazine in Kitchener / Waterloo / Cambridge, Ontario. He was an inspiration as a ref and coach with many hockey leagues in BC. Matt will be remembered as a loving brother, father, son and uncle. Using diligence in everything he did has caused misery to those lives he touched. We will miss you Matt. Friends will be received at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, on Saturday February 25th, 2017 from 2-3pm. A memorial service in celebration of Matt’s life will take place in the chapel of the funeral home at 3pm, with a reception to follow.
