EMBREE, Doris (nee Lunau)
Into the deep trust of God’s love and mystery, Doris May Embree (nee Lunau) passed on Thursday February 9, 2017 at the age of 88 at the Guelph General Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Rev. Alan Embree (2003). Loving mother of Bryan (Paula), Garth (Helen), Jan (Bruce), and Michael (Bernice). Cherished grandmother/nana/safta to Jonathan, Bryan, Elizabeth, Holden, Larissa, Drew, Lauren, Daniel, Reece, Taya, and Karys. She is survived by her Aunt Barb, as well as cousins Susan, Wendy, Joy, Rosemary and others.
She will be fondly remembered for her faithful care of her family, her great love of children, her gracious hospitality, and her firm belief in the power of prayer.
Doris’ memory will be celebrated on Monday February 13, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St. at Richmond, London. In lieu of flowers, donations to the London Health Sciences Foundation or SickKids Hospital Foundation, Toronto are appreciated.
