RICHIBUCTO, NB – Yvon Vautour 84, of Richibucto
passed away at his residence on Saturday, February 4, 2017.
Born in Cap St-Louis, he was the son of the late Benoit Vautour and
late Eleonore (Doucet) Vautour. Before retiring, Yvon was a
fisherman. He attended St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic
Church in Richibucto.
Yvon will be sadly missed by his three daughters, Linda
Vautour (Sylvio) of Canisto, Diane Vautour (Gilles) of Bouctouche,
Nicole Vautour (John) of St. Louis; one son, Fernand Vautour of
Richibucto; four grandchildren, Rose, Lise, Corey, Daniel and one
great grandchild, Julien.
He is also survived by the mother of his children, Jeanne
(Doucet) Vautour; five sisters, Viola Vautour (late Jim), Ethel
Maillet (late Armand), Marie Hebert (Zenon), Carmen Bell (Ronald) all
of Cap St-Louis, Stella Vautour (Roger) of Aldouane; three brothers,
Elide of Richibucto, Cloris (late Geraldine), Claude (Diane) both of
Cap St-Louis; sister-in-law, Laurianne; brother-in-law, David Vautour
and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one sister, Doris
and one brother, Oscar.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home
in Richibucto on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, Friday at 9:00 am
until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held
on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 11:00 am, St. Louis de Gonzague Roman
Catholic Church, Richibucto. Donations in Yvon’s
memory may be made to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation and
would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements are in care
of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto
(523-4252).
