Carol Comeau

It is with great sadness that we
announce the passing of Carol Comeau. Carol passed away
peacefully on January 27th, 2017 at the age of 42 surrounded by loved
ones in Mississauga, Ontario after courageously battling cancer for
several months.
Carol was born in Bathurst,
NB. She was the beloved daughter of Claudette Cormier and
the late Clifford Comeau (2015). She will be lovingly
remembered by her sister, Sandra and her favorite niece and
goddaughter, Jordan; by numerous aunts: Sylvie, Gisèle,
Patricia, Arnolda, Murielle, Bernadine; and uncles: Leo,
Fidèle, Régis, Luc, Henry, Maurice, Martin,
Donald and Gilles; on both her mother’s and father’s side of the
family; countless cousins and her grandmother, Rita Comeau.
Carol will be affectionately remembered
for her infectious laughter and warm personality and greatly missed by
all who knew her including her favorite four legged friend, Spencer
and most of all by her mom who loved her dearly.
The family is grateful to the doctors,
nurses and staff at the Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga, ON for
their thoughtful and compassionate care with special thanks extended
to Doctors: Laura Harild, Mark Rother and Jasper Yuen; nurses: Judy
Tobin and Linda Nixon and social worker, Ireet Karadet.
There will be no visitation at the
Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Holy
Family Church in Bathurst, NB on Wednesday, February
8th at 4:00 p.m. followed by a small
reception.
Arrangements are in the care of
Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst, NB.
Donations in memory of Carol, may be
made to either the Canadian Cancer Society or the Trillium Health
Partners Foundation.
