Leanne Tricia Brown, 34, of Moose Jaw, SK entered eternal rest on January 20, 2017 at Rockyview General Hospital in Calgary, AB. Born on October 26, 1982 in Moose Jaw, SK, she is the youngest child of Gloria & Norman Brown. Family was the most important thing in Leanne’s life. She was close to her mother, grandmother, and brothers, and loved her four children deeply. Katana, Zane, Lincoln, & Shelby brought joy, meaning, and hope into her life. Being a truly loving and caring person, Leanne always put others first. Her warm heart embraced not only the people she loved, but animals too. She had many special pets in her life but none were quite as special as her dogs, Buddy & Cola. Naturally, the outdoors was Leanne’s favourite place to be. Hiking in the mountains, swimming, or soaking in the hot tub, were all sure to bring a smile to her face. Spending time outdoors with the children brought her the utmost pleasure. Leanne’s outgoing, gregarious, and spontaneous nature allowed her to make friends easily. She will be dearly missed by not only her family, but also by her numerous friends. She brightened many lives and will not be forgotten. Leanne is survived by her children Katana, Zane, Lincoln, & Shelby Gariepy, her parents Gloria Brown, Norman Brown & Joe Prokulevich, her siblings Tyren Brown (Sarah) & Trent Brown (Stephanie), her half-siblings Norma Walsh (Larry), Earl Brown & Brent Brown, her nieces & nephews Cody, Katie, Natasha, Leland, Jessic & Tammy, and her “adopted” big brothers Lawrence Green, Shawn Brown, Stan Hrynyk & Cory Wilson. Leanne was predeceased by her grandparents Della & Vern Brown, and Mabel & John Wittmier, her sisters Crystal Leanne & Janine Amanda Brown. A Memorial Tea and Final Farewell were held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Parkview Funeral Chapel, Moose Jaw, SK. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to everyone in attendance as well as to all those who extended their sympathies in thought & prayer.
