Walter Herbert Dobernigg; April 27, 1936- January 21, 2017 With great sadness the family of Walter Dobernigg annouces that he has passed away peacefully after battling Parkinson’s Disease for 17 years. Walter was born in Edmonton, Alberta to Frank and Anna Dobernigg and spent his early years in Carrot Creek, Alberta. He and his family then moved to Vernon, British Columbia to start an orcharding business. He attended Beairsto Elementary School and then Vernon Senior High. He worked at several places before finding his career as a driver for Greyhound Bus Lines. He enjoyed meeting people from around the world and travelling to new places….
