CAMERON – Angus Stanley-Age 39, of Judique, passed away suddenly and peacefully on January 22, 2017. Born in Inverness on April 4, 1977 to his loving parents; Sam & Geraldine (Rankin) Cameron.
Angus was extremely proud of his son Micah who he cherished with his whole heart. Micah was his prized possession, the light of his life, his best friend and his world.
Angus was an extraordinary man with extra-ordinary qualities and accomplishments. A loving father, son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. He will always be remembered for his talent as a storyteller with a flair for entertaining. He could always deliver an amazing story with laughter, humor and a glimmer in his eye. Angus also enjoyed drawing and was often found with pencils and paper creating small works of art that family and friends were fortunate to enjoy.
Being an avid sports fan, Angus proudly sported his blue & white like a true loyal Leafs fan. He played hockey and soccer as a goalie and coach.
He had a great love for his family, friends and community. Angus was always there to lend a helping hand, always giving and never expecting anything in return. His giving nature led him to start his own business as a handyman.
Angus had a thirst for knowledge through educational programs and a passion for reading as well as a love for music. He honored his family heritage and roots. He was always proud of who he was and where he came from. His infectious good nature is the reason he was so loved by his family and friends and touched the hearts of many.
He is survived by his son Micah; parents Sam and Geraldine; sisters Krista and Katie; brother Christopher; niece Samantha and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his Grandparents Kenny & Katherine Sara (MacIsaac) Rankin; Angus & Gail (O’Brien) Cameron and other loving family members who loved him dearly.
Visitation will be held Thursday January 26 from 7-9; Friday 2-4 & 7-9 at The Judique Fire Hall. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am St. Andrew’s Parish Judique with Father Allen MacMillian officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. Family Flowers only, in lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to The Judique Fire Hall or The Judique Cemetery Fund.
