1946-2017
Charles V. Hiltz, of
Riverview passed away at The Moncton Hospital, on Monday, January 23,
2017 at the age of 70 years. Born in Scotland, he was the son of the
late Cecil and Georgina (Robertson) Hiltz. Charles retired after 30
years working for the Department of Agriculture, Canadian Food
Inspection Agency. Charles enjoyed being outdoors, golfing, manicuring
his lawn and flowers. Above all he loved time spent with his
family, especially his grandchildren.
Survived by his wife
of 43years Marie Dianne (Comeau); daughter Michelle (Mike) Hewey of
Riverview; son Jason (Erin) Hiltz of Sussex; brothers Gordon of
Moncton, Gary, Ian and Christopher (Eileen) all of New Minas NS;
cherished grandchildren Grayson, Maria, Lesley and Maya.
Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers & Riverview
Funeral Home on Thursday January 26, 2017 from 6:30pm till
9:00pm.
The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers
and Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Friday January 27, 2017 at 11:00
am with the Venerable Brent Ham officiating.
Interment will
be in Alderwood Cemetery, to be attended by family.
In lieu
of flowers, donations in Charles’s memory made to the Canadian Cancer
Society or to the Schizophrenia Society of Nova Scotia (www.ssns.ca)
would be appreciated by the family.
The family wish to

professionalism, kindness and support will never be forgotten.
