Stelios Edison Ninos – 2017

Stelios Edison “Bud” Ninos, 84 of Nictaux and Halifax passed away peacefully in the Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton with his loving wife by his side on January 18, 2017. Born December 27, 1932, he was the son of the late Stelios and Violet (Boutlier) Ninos.
Bud served in the Canadian Military then went on to own and operate Sparta Auto Body for 50 years. His many passions included sailing, skiing, RVing, crossword puzzles, dancing, Antique Cars and after retirement Bud and Betty became Snowbirds.
Bud will be missed by his wife Betty (Kent); sons Stelios (Donnie) of Lake Charlotte and Dino of Halifax; step-son Jamie Dempster of Vancouver, BC; sister Margarita (Greta) Lindsay of Halifax; brother Richard (Rick) and sister-in-law Marilyn of Halifax; sister-in-law Janice Ninos of Halifax; grandchildren Amber; Lara; Troy; first wife Bev of Halifax; sisters-in-law Elaine (Bruce) Evans; Dorothy (Brian) Horne and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers Tony and George.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Chapels, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr (902-679-2822). Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to a memorial service for Bud on Sunday April 23, 2017 at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #1 Middleton (there will be a reminder in April). In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
