Beth passed away peacefully with her family at her side on January 19, 2017 from brain cancer. Beth is survived by her loving husband of 46 years Garry, her son Scott (Lisa), daughter Sandy (Yuval), her grandchildren Carter, Austin, Tzophi and Maya, brother Dennis (Yoki)from Mississauga and many nieces and nephews. Beth was predeceased by her mother Rita and father Howard of Sudbury Ontario. Beth was born in Sudbury and graduated from the Mack School of Nursing… in St. Catherines Ontario. She met her husband Garry in Belville Ontario where she was working at the hospital as a nurse. Beth and Garry were married in Sudbury on May 2, 1970. They transferred to Westlock and Edmonton then relocated to Camrose where they lived for 9 years. After a final transfer to Calgary with UFA in 1982, they retired to High River in 2001. Beth enjoyed crafts of all kinds, her Majong group, Tuesday night bingo, golf, curling and entertaining friends and neighbors. Beth and Garry enjoyed many holidays, she particularly liked spending the winter months in Palm Springs and Phoenix. A celebration of Beth’s life will take place on Monday, January 30, 2017 at the Highwood Memorial Centre in High River at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to The Foothills Country Hospice, Box 274, Stn Main, Okotoks, Alberta T1S 1A5.
