‘Bob’ lived a full life with many treasured memories of a life well lived. Originally from Saskatchewan, he and his late wife Gloria of 61 years spent most of their life, farming in Ballantrae. Kind and gentle with a ‘strong -grip’ for a handshake, he was quick with a joke, wry smile with a twinkle in his eyes! Dearly loved by many. Survived by his Daughter, Cricket-Olivia Forfar and Son, Richard Forfar. Also his faithful 19 year old dog, Brin. Special appreciation to ALL the staff and volunteers at Lakeview Manor in Beaverton. Hospice volunteer, Lillian. Family, friends, and PSW’s from other agencies who continued to keep in touch and visit. A special man, indeed. Family will receive friends at the O’Neill Funeral Home 6324 Main Street Stouffville (905)642-2855 on Friday January 20th 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until Chapel service time at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Churchill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the York Region Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family. If so desired, online condolences may be made at www.oneillfuneral.ca
