Ross, Dr. Dawn Lorraine, 59 of Tantallon, died January 13, 2017 at her home. Born in Halifax, N.S., she was the only child of the late Morris and Margaret (Dunbar) Ross and the last surviving member of her family. Educated in Halifax, Dawn received her BSc from Dalhousie University in 1978 and went on to receive her MD in 1982 from Dalhousie University School of Medicine, followed by a rotating internship and residency in Psychiatry. Upon becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 1988, she opened her office for the private practice of psychiatry which continued until her death.
