Mr. Darren Bigney of Sarnia, ON. passed away suddenly at his residence on Friday, December 23, 2016 at the age of 51.
Darren is survived by his partner Kirk Hardy and their fur babies; parents Norman and Joyce Bigney of Glen Ewen, SK.; brother Dwayne (Sherry) Bigney; brother-in-law Shane Boyes; nieces and nephews: Scott (Barbra) Bigney, Denise (Eric) Allum, Kristopher (Erin) Boyes, Nicki (Alex) Franken and Brooke (Mitchell Morrison) Boyes; many great nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister Diane Boyes in 2006.
Before moving to Sarnia, ON. for his retirement in 2010, Darren lived in Toronto since 1980 where he attended the University of Toronto. He became a Sr. Programmer for MTS-Allstream and built many great friendships. Darren was a member of the Royal Conservatory of Music and often volunteered at the Red Cross for the Meals on Wheels program. He had a strong passion for horses which will live on through his family.
Cremation has taken place.
A private service will be held at a later date.
