Charles Francis Meadows was born on January 9, 1921 at the High River Hospital and passed away on December 30, 2016 at the High River Hospital. Charles was 95 years old. He was predeceased by his wife Muriel, his long-time partner Cathy Hardcastle, two daughters Barbara Tohm and Leona Meadows, grandson Darrin Meadows and sister Helen Roe. He is survived by his brother Stewart Meadows, his daughters Patricia Steer, Charlene Ehrhardt, sons Donnie Meadows, David (Connie)… Meadows, thirteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. Charlie spent his life farming, retired to Red Deer and returned to High River where he met his long-time partner Cathy. A memorial service will be held the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #71, 25 8 Ave SE, High River AB T1V 1E8 on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. followed by refreshment.
