Carr-Braint, Kenneth Howard “Coach” – at home, with his wife at his side, on Sunday, December 25th, 2016 in his 89th year. Son of the late Harry and Mary Carr-Braint. Dearly loved Sweetheart and Husband of Edith Carr-Braint of Belleville. Loving father of Bonnie (Ross) Kerwin, Larry (Margaret), Joel (Marjorie) all of Belleville, Scott of Kingston and the late David Carr-Braint. Much loved step-father of Connie (Mark) Gallupe, Sylvia (Alan) Brockwell and Peter (Joanne) Petrick. Ken will be missed by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Janice (John) Paton and predeceased by his brother, Don and his sisters, Ann, Kay and Joyce. He will be remembered by several nieces and nephews. Ken was a General Contractor and Master Builder in the Belleville area and an Olympian in his chosen sport of Weightlifting. The family will receive friends at the Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel, 30 Moira Street West (613-968-2273) on Monday, January 2nd from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. The Memorial Service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Private Interment at Elmwood Cemetery. If desired, Memorial Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to ANAF 201 Belleville.
