It is with sad hearts that the family of
Terence Walter Burns announce his passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers
Hospital on Sunday December 18th
2016. He was 73. Born in England he was a son of
the late Murdock Walter and Kathleen Stella (Bennett)
Burns.
Terry was a church elder at the Corner Stone
Bible Church in Burtts Corner, he was a huge Chicago Blackhawks Fan,
he loved Duncan Donuts Coffee, telling stories, and reading
books. He was a hard worker and would never shy away from
helping his family. Terry also took his dog Licorice out for his daily
walk.
Terry will be deeply missed by his loving wife
Dianne (Nee James), daughter; Sherry Eatmon (Chuck), grandchildren;
Chester (Erika), Amethyst, Johanna (Aidan) and Jacob (Chelsey), sister
in law Valerie Battaglia (Tom), an Aunt Chloris Stewart and cousins
Rosalind Stewart-Chan and Roland
Jellett.
Other than his parents, he was predeceased by
his In-Laws Kitchener and Leona James.
Visitation will take place at
Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on
Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 4-8 PM.
A celebration of life in memory of Terry will
be held on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 2 PM from the Devon Park
Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Matthews officiating.
Interment will be held later in the Douglas Rural
cemetery.
Donations in memory of Terry may be made to the
Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the
Corner Stone Bible Church.
