At The Fundy Nursing Home, Blacks Harbour NB on December 15, 2016, Mr.
Emile Joseph Belliveau, husband of the late Frances Mary(Vautour)
Belliveu of Blacks Harbour NB.
Born at Metaghan NS on August 8, 1927 he was a son of the late
Simeon and Mary Eugenie (Comeau) Belliveau.
A loving father, grandfather and brother, he is survived by his
children: Irene (Bernie) Billingsley of BC, Ronnie Belliveau (Karen
Daley) and Paul(Sandra) Belliveau both of Blacks Harbour NB, James
Belliveau of Kitimat BC, Danny Belliveau (Beth) of St. Stephen NB,
Denise (Mike) Stewart of Pennfield NB, Arthur (Anne) Belliveau of Fort
Sask. AB, Gordon (Patsy) Belliveau of Oromocto NB and Cecile Belliveau
(Tracy Wright) of Fort McMurray AB, numerous grandchildren and great
grandchildren, his sisters; Alda Boudreau of Blacks Harbour NB, Yvonne
Gaudet of Hantsport NS and Evelyn Theriault of Pennfield NB as well as
several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Emile
was predeceased by his wife Frances, a son; Robert, brothers; Basil,
Eddie and Arcade and his sisters; Obeline Belliveau,Katherine
“Kate” Myatt, Marguerite Gaudet and Cecile Gaudet.
Prior to his retirement, Emile worked for Connors Brothers both as
a Night Watchman and as a Security Guard as well as at the Pennfield
Sawmill. Both he and his wife Frances were very active members of the
Eastern Charlotte Lions Club for several years. Emile enjoyed
socializing and being part of the crowd. He was a big wrestling fan
and was known for his stories and his many adventures throughout the
area. He will be sadly missed by his family and all who knew him.
Resting at the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium with
visiting on Saturday from 2-4 pm only, Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Stella Maris Roman
Catholic Church on Monday at 11 am with Father Rolando Suplido
officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery in the spring.
In Emile’s Memory, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or a charity
of the donors choice.
