(Founding Member of Holy Rosary Parish; Proud Veteran WWII, and 70 year member of the Kiwanis Club of Guelph)
Peacefully at his residence, Guelph, on Friday, December 16, 2016. Dr. Stanley W. Weiler in his 100th year, was the beloved husband of the late Gladys L. (Rowe) Weiler (1993). He was the loving father of Wendy (David); Susan; Dennis (late Liz); Debbie (Mae); John (Murielle); Mary Jane (Rob); Sherri (Rob); and the late Larry (Agnes); and the late Cathy. Predeceased by a son-in-law Victor Decloux. Survived also by 21 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Doris (Ed); and Mary (late Ron); and the late Roy; Audrey; Hugh; Bert and Austin.
Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St.N., Guelph, where the family will receive their friends on Monday, December 19, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Stan will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 3 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Rosary Church, 175 Emma St., Guelph, on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Marymount Cemetery, Guelph. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or to the St. Joseph’s Health Centre Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
