Gary Maki Jr – 2016

Gary Edward Maki Jr., age 50 years, passed away unexpectedly as a result of a tragic motor vehicle collision on Wednesday, December 14, 2016.
Gary loved the outdoors, especially fishing, quading and snowmobiling. Spending time with his family and friends was important, he liked to gather around the bonfire or eat ribs off the BBQ. Gary and Tracey enjoyed travelling, warm vacations with a rum and coke on the beach. He loved scuba diving and was so happy to be able to dive off the coast of Cozumel this past October.
Gary is survived by his loving wife, Tracey; son Jared and daughter Jordan; father Gary Sr.; siblings Edwin (Laura), John (Luanne) and Lorelei; parents in-law Richard and RoseAnn Zapfe and sister in-law Tiffany Zapfe. Nieces nephews and other relatives also survive.
Predeceased by his mother, Stella Robillard.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2016 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm in the EVEREST FUNERAL CHAPEL, 299 Waverley Street at Algoma.
If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
