Obituary for William (Bill) Edward Hodgan
Bill, beloved husband of Jeannine and loving father of Maureen, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2016 at the age of 85 years. Bill was born in Athabasca, Alberta on April 21, 1931 but moved often in his childhood, as his father was manager of the Imperial Bank of Commerce. Bill worked for many years in the oil industry as a geophysicist. After retiring from Petro Canada he started his own company and enjoyed every minute of it. Bill is survived by Jeannine, his loving wife of 63 years, daughter Maureen, and her husband Cam Christiansen. He is also survived by his sister Betty Warman and family, many nieces and nephews, as well as numerous extended family. Bill was predeceased by their son Barry on May 11, 2016. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Spirit Catholic Church (10824-24 Street SW) on Monday, December 19, 2016 at 11:00 am. Photos, memories and condolences may be shared with Bill’s family through www.evanjstrong.com.
