passed away peacefully at the Champlain Manor, Orillia on Sunday, November 27th, 2016 in his 94th year. Gordon Skinner of Orillia, beloved husband of the late Marguerite (nee Galbraith). Dear father of Norine (predeceased)(Rick) Gilmour of Ancaster, Paul (Agnes) of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Laurie (Joe) Vautour (both predeceased). Son of the late Sidney and Lillian Skinner. Loved brother of Mildred (Charlie predeceased) Tatham of Vancouver, B.C., Don (June predeceased) Skinner of Midland and Edna Chruszcz (Casmer predeceased) of Orillia. Also loved by his grandchildren David (Christine) Skinner, Dawn (Brandon) Marchand, Jason (Lisa) Gilmour and great grandfather of Boyd, Lauryn, Samuel & Evelyn Marchand, Owen & Spencer Gilmour and Jake Skinner. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at the First Baptist Church, 265 Coldwater Rd.,W., Orillia, on Monday, December 19, 2016 at 2 p.m. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
