Floyd Wagar - July 12

Floyd Wagar – July 12, 1934 – December 9, 2016

Obituary for Floyd Wagar
“LUCKY”
AKA Floyd Wagar
July 12, 1934 – December 9, 2016
Floyd was born in Vulcan, AB and lived in various places before settling in Kimberley where he worked for Cominco for almost 30 years. Floyd enjoyed a wide variety of activities. He loved his woodworking projects and if Dad built it we knew it would last forever. He also loved the time he spent riding his motorbike, camping and doing puzzles.
After retirement, Floyd spent lots of time curling and golfing until the age 78. Floyd rarely missed his morning walks to A&W to have coffee and the morning B.S. session with his coffee buddies.
Floyd is survived by his loving wife Bonnie, his 3 children Allen (Shelley), Nora (Roger) Bennett and Susan (Chuck) Zimmer, his 4 grandchildren, Stephanie Zimmer, Chelsea Zimmer, Reginald Bennett and Raymond Bennett, his sister Isabel Lipsack and nephew Dan Lipsack.
Floyd will be missed by many people especially his family. We love you with all our hearts Dad. Rest In Peace.
A memorial service for Floyd will be held at McPherson Funeral Home in Kimberley on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 2:00 pm. Donations in honour of Floyd can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, #202, 105 – 9th Avenue South, Cranbrook, BC, V1C 2M1.
Arrangements entrusted to McPherson Funeral Service.
