Elizabeth “Betty” E. Furlotte
1929-2016
Betty Furlotte, 87, of Moncton and
formerly of Sackville, NB; passed away peacefully at Dr. Georges
Dumont University Hospital, on Wednesday, December 6,
2016.
Born in River Hebert, NS; she was the daughter of the late
Leonard and Margaret (Burke) Roberts. Betty was a member of St.
Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church.
She was a lover of all animals, especially Tommasina her
cat.
A loving and caring mother, sister, grandmother and friend
she will be sadly missed by her daughters Dorothy Arsenault of
Toronto, Catherine Furlotte and Margaret Furlotte both of
Moncton; her sons Fred Furlotte of Toronto, Len Furlotte and Robert
Furlotte both of Calgary and Allan Furlotte of Moncton; her sister
Marjorie Ferguson of Moncton; her brothers Frederick of Amherst, NS
and Philip Roberts of Albert County; also by 4 grandchildren and 4
great grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband
Norman in 1997; brothers Paul, Emmerson, Edmund, Billy, Gerald,
Douglas and; sister Maryanne; and brother in law Ray Ferguson, and
sister in law Betty.
Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers &
Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Riverview on Sunday, December
11, 2016 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and on Monday , December 12 from
11:00am until the time of the funeral service.
The Funeral Service will be held at Tuttle Brothers &
Riverview Funeral Home on Monday, December 12, 2016 at 12 noon with
Fr. Laurence Quin-Morris officiating.
Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery in the
spring.
In Lieu of Flowers, donations made to the Diabetic
Association or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated
by her family.
