Carl Petrie McGregor
1958-2016
Carl McGregor of Shediac, NB passed away peacefully on
Tuesday, December 6, 2016. Carl graduated from Dalhousie University
College of Pharmacy in 1990 and had been working in the field ever
since. His passions included a love for cars, in particular his 1987
Toyota Supra and of course Sailing.
He will be dearly missed by his devoted and treasured
companion, Marilyn Coates; beloved children, Kate Curwin and Keegan
McGregor; and dear sisters, Kirsten and Gaelan
McGregor.
“A few who have watched me sail away
Will
miss my craft from the busy bay;
Some friendly barques that
were anchored near,
Some loving souls that my heart held
dear,
In silent sorrow will drop a tear;
But I
shall have peacefully furled my sail
In mooring sheltered
from storm and gale
And greeting the friends who have
sailed before
O’er the unknown sea to the unknown
shore.”
Elizabeth Clark Hardy (1849 – 1929)
