Sarah ‘Sadie’ Wadia Lewis

LEWIS, Sarah “Sadie” Wadia- Age 98, Canso
passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 1, 2016, in the Milford
Haven Home for Special Care, Guysborough. Born in Canso, she was the
daughter of the late George and Angelina (Richo) Lewis.
Sadie worked for many years as a hairdresser from her home in
Canso. She was a member of Star of the Sea Parish, Canso. She was the
last surviving member in her immediate family.
Surviving are several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and
nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Elias, Abraham, George
and Nicholas in infancy; sisters, Mary, Catherine and Margaret.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. Burial of
ashes will take place at a later date.
