With profound sadness we announce the passing of Jean Furgeson (nee Clark). Jean went peacefully, with husband Bill by her side, at Holly Cross Manor in Calgary.
She is survived by her husband Bill; sons Bill (Tracy), Pete (Norma) and Ric (Lydia); her nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Jean was predeceased by daughter Wendy, her three sisters and two brothers.
A Celebration of Jean’s Life will be held in the Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home (1605-100 Street S.E.) on Monday December 5, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with viewing for those wishing to pay their respects beginning at 9:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the Arthritis Society, #300, 1301 – 8 Street SW, Calgary, AB T2R 1B7 (www.arthritis.ca).
