It is with the deepest sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son Zachary (Zach) MacWilliams at the age of 22. Zach was born on May 11, 2000 in Calgary, AB and passed on March 24th, 2023 at home in Sherwood Park, Alberta. Zach was born to Wayne and Leanne(Murray) MacWilliams, brother to Jordan (Vegreville) and Gemma who is still at home, grandson to Myrna Murray and Linda MacWilliams both from PEI.
Zach also left behind a large extended family of Aunts, Uncles and many cousins. He was predeceased by his grandfathers Gerald Murray and George MacWilliams.
Zach enjoyed soccer and making his famous pumpkin cookies. He loved going to the movies and playing his video games. We will deeply miss listening to his late night hoots coming from downstairs.
Words are inadequate to explain the loss we are feeling at this time. May he rest now in peace and may the pain in our hearts today be soothed with loving memories.
Zach will be honoured by his family and all those who wish to gather for a funeral service at Park Place Funeral home, 51 Broadway Boulevard, Sherwood Park, AB T8H 2C1 on Sunday April 2, 2023 @ 2:30pm with Fr Jim Corrigan as Officiant. Cremation has taken place and will be interred at a later date in PEI.
In lieu of flowers we welcome donations in Zach’s name to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
