Yvonne Caissie, 91, formerly of Moncton, passed away on
Wednesday April 26, 2023 at Résidence du Marais in Dieppe.
Born in Saint-Paul, she was the daughter of the late Lévis
and Obéline (Gallant) LeBlanc.
She is survived by one daughter, Paulette (late Barry); one
son, Paul (Bernice); five grandchildren: Simon, Michel, Monica,
Patricia, and Nicole; two great-grandchildren: Myriam and Mia; two
sisters: Géralda Caissie (Gérard) and Ida
Maillet (Valmond); as well as her nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by the father of her children, Laurie;
one sister, Iona; and two brothers: Freddy and Clorice.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to
Réjean and the staff at the Résidence du Marais
for their excellent care provided to Yvonne.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) where the
funeral service will be celebrated on Monday May 1 at 3 pm. Visiting
hours are on Monday from 1:30 pm until time of funeral. Interment will
be Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of Yvonne, a
contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (oncology) would be
appreciated.
