It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Wilma Freda Taylor which occurred peacefully at her home on Wednesday, February 22nd, 2023, surrounded by her loving family and long-time friend. Born 1935, in Rosedale, NB, she is the daughter of the late William and Sadie (DeLong) Taylor. Wilma worked in accounting at Bereskin & Parr in Toronto for many years before retiring in 2001. Travelling was her passion and she went on 35 trips and visited 29 countries. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Wilma is survived by her daughter Shelly Burke (Jim) of Grand Bay-Westfield; son Dan Davis (Darlene) of Ottawa, ON; 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews and friends. Along with her parents, Wilma was predeceased by her twin siblings Roy & Rowena and Dorothy.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). As per Wilma’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private interment will take place at a later date. Donations in memory of Wilma may be made to The Diabetes Association or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
