William Hills
William Leroy Hills, son of the late Walter and Fern Hills passed away peacefully on Monday, January 9, 2023 at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 83 years. He is survived by his wife Marie Hills, his sister Diane Smith and five children; Bill Hills, Vicki Bragagnolo (John), Troy Hills (Sylvie Demers), Tracy Hills-McDougall (Tim) and Tara Dickinson(Andy). As well as his 3 step sons; late Mike Patry, Marc Patry (Rhadora) and Donald Patry. Bill is survived by 14 grandchildren; Ryan, Jessi, Casey, Taylor, Derek Stephanie, Samantha, Candace, Damian, Cullen, Keagan, McKenna, Liam and Camden as well as many great grandchildren. In his early years Bill was very active in the Hockey Community. In his later years he could be found enjoying Horwood Lake and its many summer residents. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Timmins District Humane Society would be gratefully appreciated. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
