Obituary of William Clifford Colbourne
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and husband, Clifford (William) Colbourne.
Left to mourn is his beloved wife of 56 years, Rosalyn, children: Karen (Percy), Faye (Gerald), and Darrell (Carry-Lynn), grandchildren: Lindsey, Adam, Abigail, Allisha, Joshua, Cheryl (Bly), and Michelle (Jared), great-grandchildren: Jessica, Brian, Tessa, and Parker, and siblings: Winston (Eliza), Emma, Goward (Corrine), Clayton (Dorothy), Hazel (Owen), Lester (Hope), as well as many close friends and family.
Clifford was pre-deceased by his mother and father: Harvey and Maude Colbourne, sisters: Faye Elliott and Selma Noonan, and brothers: Harvey and Wayne Colbourne.
Cremation has taken place. At the family’s request, there will be no visitation. Funeral service will take place at the United Church of Canada, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, on Friday, February 10th at 2:00pm with the Reverend Wayne Blackwood officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Clifford’s memory to the charity of one’s choice.
