Passed peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of the late Claudia for 60 years. Loving father of Robyn McCauley-Echlin, Suzanne (Alan) Matthews and Scott. Much loved Gramps of Brian (Samantha), Joel and Jared (Alycia). Very proud GG of Addison, Mila and Carter. Predeceased by parents Vernon and Dorothy McCauley and sisters Donna Bailey and Carol Baxter. Previous owner of East Hamilton Radio and proud first million-dollar salesman. Bill resided at Billings Court and was honoured to be President of the Resident’s Council. Thank you to the staff for taking wonderful care of our dad.
A private family service has taken place at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, BURLINGTON (905-632-3333).
